I am a Uruguayan plastic artist, born in Montevideo, the city where I now live. My paintings and drawings have a language rooted in classical realism, from which I seek abstraction.
My development as an artist has been motivated by the interest in the representation of the human, focused on the face and emotions. The game of drawing caricatures of loved ones has been with me since I was a child. I am also captivated by the representation of the urban landscape; I find there a way to visualize the face of the communities.
